OFF THE TOP #1 - When Vitality Calls... Answer

And Quickly.

Knock Knock…

Vitality is at the door.

Gonna answer?

When you feel a surge of energy, what do you do?
What’s your approach when inspiration strikes?

If you’ve been meaning to make a serious change in your life, there’s no better time than when vitality is on your side.

Just recently, I felt this urge to train twice a day.

Here’s why:

The morning workouts build solid momentum for the day.
The night workouts are great for stress relief.

So I thought - “fuck it, I’m training twice a day.”

This is how you should implement inspiration.
Convert it into action immediately.

Wanna know what I used to do when I felt inspired?

Plan.

Big f*cking mistake.

Here’s why.

Inspiration doesn’t last long.

But surely it’s good to use that inspiration to lay out a nice plan, no?

Fuck no. Because once it wears off (which it will), you will have very little energy to carry out your ‘plan’.

This is mental masturbation at its peak.

Let me make this super clear:
When inspiration strikes, or when vitality calls…

ACT.
NOW.

Once the initial buzz wears off, you’ll be fine as you’ve been building momentum.

But I don’t know what to act on without a plan.

Yes, you fucking do.

You know exactly what you need to do.

It’s just in this moment, you’re lacking a bit of clarity.

Planning is good for clarity, I get that.
But not at the expense of losing precious inspiration.

The best clarity comes from action.

For people just starting:
The plan becomes clearer as you work on it.
Your work doesn’t become clearer as you plan for it.

But for experienced people, yes, planning has a much higher ROI.
Purely because they can see more in retrospect.

So at the start, keep throwing sh*t at the wall and see what sticks.

We’re after volume.

So when vitality calls, answer.

When inspiration strikes, use it.
